• Sensory Awareness Day Ticket Requests

Due to a limited number of tickets, not all requests can be fulfilled. Tickets are first come, first served.
  • Sensory Awareness Day at the Kentucky State Fair happens Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 10 a.m. until noon - weather permitting.

In partnership with Kissel Entertainment, FEAT of Louisville, Home of the Innocents, and Kentucky Autism Training Center, free admission and Thrill Ville tickets will be given to fairgoers with sensory processing differences. During the event, Thrill Ville will operate with minimal lights and music to create an enjoyable fair experience for those with sensory sensitivities. The fair does not determine who receives tickets or issue tickets, but a partner association will contact those who will receive them.

The Sunshine Class, which will also be held on Sensory Awareness Day, offers an opportunity for individuals with special needs to work in a show ring. Working with a mentor, the exhibitor will show the animal, and all are presented with a championship banner. To learn more and register, visit https://www.kyagr.com/sunshine/.
